Women's Workshop
Shifting Body Image
w/ Kaitlyn Nelson
While we all know how important it is to take care of our physical bodies for health reasons, few of us consider how essential it is to truly love and accept our bodies.
Most of us reject our bodies - feeling angry, disappointed and even disgusted by our bodies. Rejecting our physical body disconnects us from ourselves.
Healing body rejection has an impact on your willingness to feel embodied and present, which is a key ingredient in increasing awareness about what we are feeling and needing.
Led by Kaitlyn Nelson, a licensed mental health therapist, Kaitlyn will hold a safe space as you bring loving attention and soothing to parts of you filled with old pain. She will guide a trauma-informed gentle yoga practice to assist you in noticing and connecting to your body. Following, she will guide you through EFT Tapping to unblock stuck / old energy into feeling more confidence and peace within your unique body.
All ages and abilities are welcome.
